These terms and conditions apply to consumers’ purchases of goods on vernon.dk.

PAYMENT
Payment can be made using the following payment methods: VISA, VISA/Dankort, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and MobilePay.

When paying with international payment cards – such as Visa and MasterCard – the payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card until we capture or reject the payment. No amount will be reserved when paying with Dankort. If you pay with MobilePay, the payment card connected to the app determines whether the payment is reserved.

The amount will be charged when the item is shipped.

If multiple items are ordered in the same order and one or more items cannot be delivered immediately, we will only charge payment for the relevant item(s) when they are shipped.

DELIVERY
We deliver goods to addresses in Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

In Denmark, goods are delivered within 1–3 business days after your order has been placed. Shipments to Sweden and Finland are delivered within 2–4 business days.

In Denmark, we offer both delivery to parcel shops and home delivery to private and business addresses. In Sweden, we offer delivery to parcel shops, and in Finland, we offer home delivery to private and business addresses.

If you choose delivery to a parcel shop, GLS will inform you when your parcel is ready for collection at the selected pickup location.

We offer free delivery when the order value exceeds 500 DKK, 800 SEK or 100 EUR.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase without providing a reason within 14 days. If you have purchased multiple items in one order, you may choose to withdraw from the purchase of some or all items. We do not refund delivery costs in the event of a partial withdrawal.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or another person chosen by you to receive the item (excluding the carrier), takes physical possession of the item.

If you have ordered multiple items in one order and we cannot deliver the items at the same time, the withdrawal period begins from the day on which you take physical possession of the final item.

If you have ordered multiple parts or batches, the withdrawal period begins from the day on which you take physical possession of the final part or batch.

If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the deadline is extended until the following business day.

HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You exercise your right of withdrawal by providing us with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. You may, for example, send a letter or an email stating that you wish to withdraw from your purchase to: Email: contact@vernon.dk

You cannot withdraw from your purchase simply by refusing to accept the item or by failing to collect it without also notifying us that you wish to withdraw.

You may use the standard withdrawal form provided by law, which is included at the end of these terms and conditions of sale and delivery, but its use is not mandatory.

The withdrawal deadline is met if you send your notification that you wish to withdraw from the purchase before the withdrawal period has expired.

RETURN OF THE ITEM AND RETURN COSTS
If you have withdrawn from the purchase of an item, you must send or deliver the item to Brydehusvej 30A, Port N, 2750 Ballerup Denmark without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the items before the 14-day period has expired.

Items cannot be sent cash on delivery or without delivery.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item.

REFUND FOLLOWING WITHDRAWAL
When you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs. However, this does not apply to additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest delivery option we offer.

If you have purchased multiple items in one order and only withdraw from part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs.

We will make the refund without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received your notification of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned items or until you have provided documentation showing that the items have been returned.

We will issue the refund using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund.

CONDITION OF THE ITEM UPON RETURN AND PACKAGING
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of an item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the item. You are normally entitled to examine and try the item in the same way as you would be able to in a physical store.

You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging may be opened but must not be damaged. If the packaging is missing or damaged, this may result in a reduction in value for which you are liable.

You should also ensure that the item is securely packaged when returning it. You are responsible for the package/items and bear the risk until we receive them. Therefore, please keep your shipping receipt and any tracking number.

RETURN POLICY
We offer a 30-day return policy. The right of return is conditional on the item being returned to us unused, in unopened packaging and in an undamaged condition. You are responsible for the return costs. The return policy does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal as described above. The return period begins once the withdrawal period has expired.

COMPLAINTS – IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ITEM OR SERVICE
The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies if you purchase an item, digital service or digital content and there is a defect in what you have purchased. A defect may, for example, be a material or manufacturing fault or incorrect information about the item purchased. However, normal wear and tear or damage caused by yourself is not considered a defect.

If you have purchased an item, you must contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. If you contact us within 2 months after discovering the defect, your complaint will always be considered timely, provided that you make the complaint before the two-year complaint period expires. In the event of transport damage, we ask you to notify us as soon as possible. If your complaint is justified, we will reimburse your reasonable and necessary shipping costs. Therefore, please keep your receipt.

Please provide as detailed a description as possible of the issue and, if applicable, include photos of the defect. If we need to inspect the item, it must be sent to:

COMPLAINT OPTIONS
If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following options for filing a complaint:

A complaint regarding a product or service can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The Mediation Team will attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if a solution cannot be reached, you may bring the complaint before the Danish Consumer Complaints Board.

As a general rule, a requirement for submitting a complaint is that the product or service you are complaining about has cost at least DKK 1,220 and no more than DKK 100,000. For complaints regarding clothing and footwear, the price must generally be at least DKK 790. A fee must be paid for the complaint to be processed.
